We visited Sherborne girls school. We were shown the school and walked around the grounds. The most impressive thing was the music hall and school grounds. It was very big.

The buildings were very different from our school, so it was exciting to see the Sherborne school. We also went to Sherborne abbey. It’s near Sherborne school. The carvings on the ceiling were beautiful. I also had a lot of chats with Sherborne students. I asked them many questions, such as ‘What are you studying at school?’. I was also asked questions.

Sometimes, I couldn’t understand the meaning of questions.At such times, students repeat the question, use the easy words and sometimes tell me the meaning of words in Japanese. That’s why I was able to ask her to say it again, even though I couldn’t understand the English. This day was really memorable for me and it was a good experience. (KO2 student)
